Bad Oldesloe. The current study by the World Health Organization (WHO) has brought it to light: Germans move too little. About 44 percent of adult women and 40 percent of adult men in Germany do not achieve the required minimum of 150 minutes of physical activity per week. It’s even more dramatic among young people: According to the study, 88 percent of girls and 80 percent of boys in the age group 11 to 17 don’t get enough exercise.

The Oldesloer Spokusa association (sport, culture and social work) wants to counteract these values and offers three new courses under the guidance of coach May-Britt Dietrich in the course system:
Course 1: Active 70+ (and below)
Starting Tuesday, October 25, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., strength, mobility, coordination, and cognition will be trained in the assembly hall of the Klaus Groth School at Königsberger Straße 1 in Bad Oldesloe. The course consists of twelve units and ends in January 2023. Those who want to exercise should not be put off by the name of the course. “The offer is also aimed at people under the age of 70,” emphasizes Bernd Neppeßen from Spokusa. The cost of participation is 96 euros, which can be subsidized by health insurance companies.
