Hamburg (ots) – First exercise in the training area and then slow down in the spa area? Thanks to an ambitious wellness concept, some fitness studios offer this attractive combination. And the wellness oases are not only open to club members: Day guests can also book relaxation here. The German Institute for Service Quality, which has tested wellness and day spa studies, shows how the leading providers in Berlin and Hamburg rank.
The wellness oases of the fitness studios in Berlin achieve a very good result overall (82.0 points) and thus, as in the preliminary study of 2019, perform slightly better than the providers in Hamburg, which achieved a good result with 79.2 range points. In terms of range and equipment, the providers of both metropolises were on an equal footing; When it came to service, Berlin’s wellness oases were miles ahead.
Anyone interested can count on good advice: The friendly employees in Berlin and Hamburg provide competent, understandable and mostly individual information. They also demonstrate a high level of specialized knowledge and answer the wellness questions on the test correctly, almost without exception.
Mostly convincing offer and equipment
The wellness oases stand out for their cleanliness and attractive design, which guarantees a relaxed atmosphere. The wide range, especially of different saunas, and the customer-friendly opening hours are among the strong points. Wellness lovers can also book massages and beauty treatments almost everywhere. Solariums, on the other hand, are rarely available and the gastronomic offer in the spa area is usually limited.
Markus Hamer, Managing Director of the German Institute for Service Quality: “The proven fitness studios are very well positioned in the area of wellness. However, before signing up as a member, a trial day is a good idea to test everything the not-so-cheap fun fitness and spa package to meet.”
