VfB Lübeck: vacation between dachshund looks and physical activity
Lubeck.“Vacation mode,” writes VfB Lübeck newcomer Noah Plume on Instagram. He sits relaxed on a stand-up paddle board, from the tip of which a dachshund gazes curiously into the distance. VfB players old and new are still on vacation, because preparations for the new season will start again on June 21. However, total relaxation was initially the order of the day and VfB kickers sought it out in different ways, as social media reveals.

On a nearly three-hour flight in Greece, Calvin Brackelmann, who had fled to the Maldives last winter, and Morten Rüdiger relaxed, independently of each other. The latter returns engaged: he proposed to Vanessa on the beach.
Sezer with Arslan in Turkey
Cemal Sezer was photographed a little more, together with former player and friend Ahmet Arslan (Holstein Kiel). While Sezer is still unclear after his departure from VfB, Arslan is due to start again on Monday: Then training begins in Holstein Kiel. Yoga in Mauritius, strength training in the gym
As relaxed as the kickers seem: the training is integrated. During the two weeks prior to the start of preparations, the VfB coaching staff provided all players with plans for the upcoming season. Preparing for Hildesheim, Lohne and Co. under the palm trees – that’s part of Mirko Boland’s job. Three days after the DFB Cup draw, he flew to Mauritius with his wife and daughter. The VfB white pants yoga exercises are a must. Vacation and training: that’s also what newcomers Jannik Löhden and Tarik Gözüsirin combine.
