The Xiaomi Mi Band 7 Pro has a 1.64-inch AMOLED screen, which is significantly larger than the smaller, pill-shaped Xiaomi Mi Band 7 that the manufacturer recently announced for Europe. Among other things, the Pro model offers an always-on mode so that the time can be read at any time without having to activate the screen first.

GPS receiver is now directly integrated
An important innovation compared to previous fitness trackers and cheap Xiaomi smartwatches is the integration of a GPS receiver. Until now, the devices have mainly relied on the GPS of the connected smartphone, so the Mi Band 7 Pro can now independently record the user’s location.

Furthermore, NFC support is now generally integrated as well, after Xiaomi later delivered it with a special model for the Mi Band 6 last year. In the future, the screen brightness of the Mi Band 7 Pro will automatically adjust with a corresponding ambient light sensor if the user so wishes. Plus, of course, there are a ton of new watch faces to choose from. Xiaomi announces that the Mi Smart Band 7 Pro offers 117 different sports modes, so it can be used to record a variety of activities. Of course, a heart rate monitor, sleep tracking and blood oxygen saturation determination are also on board. The Mi Band 7 Pro is also said to be waterproof to depths of up to 50 meters.
Xiaomi offers the new fitness bracelet with smartwatch functions in a range of colors, the bracelets are quick to change and have a classic closure. In China, the Mi Band 7 Pro will be launched at a price of just under 55 euros. It is currently unclear if and when it will also appear in Germany.
