The classification of vehicles in different type classes is decisive for the different contributions.

“The type classes reflect, among other things, the accident statistics of the car models and the repair costs of the injured parties involved in the accident.”says Dr. Rainer Klipp, Managing Director of Motor Vehicle Insurance at CHECK24. “The higher the rating, the more damages have been reported and settled in recent years and the more expensive car insurance is for the model.”
