Large fleets of small electric vehicles have been on the roads of many cities since 2019, ensuring a higher level of mobility. But if you prefer to be on the road with your own e-scooter, there are a few things to consider before your first ride.

What scooters are allowed?

The approval of e-scooters on German roads is subject to certain conditions. First of all, electric scooters are allowed to have a maximum speed of 20km/h not exceed, which already excludes a large number of models.
