The corona pandemic has made it clear: Companies need well-qualified, digitally-savvy employees more than ever. Nürnberger ensures that it will be well equipped with staff in the future. 22 students successfully passed their final exams. The young people were honored in a virtual celebration.
Mirko Wolf, Head of Human Resources at Nürnberger: “I am very pleased that the young people managed to successfully complete their training in an impressive way, despite the difficult Corona conditions.” 11 graduates were especially honored for their extraordinary success: Anne Zimare, Alisa Gröh, Karina Josef, Katja Lehew, Bruno Kuffer, Christian Kugler, Christoffer Knell, Domenic Rzehak, Marc Augsdörfer, Ömer Agaoglu and Tobias Scholl received the recognition award from the government of Middle Franconia for his excellent grades in the vocational school.
Celebrate in times of Corona
“Especially in these times, Nürnberger needs motivated and qualified employees, especially in order to meet the increasing challenges of demographic change and digitalization,” said Wolf. In the course of the digital event, certificates were symbolically handed over to young dual students as insurance and finance employees and to trainees as IT specialists, IT employees and cooks.
The organizers had made sure in advance that even a virtual event did not have to lose any of its festive character. The in-house casino team prepared drinks and snacks and made them available to graduates in a package along with gifts and certificates.
Nürnberger promotes lifelong learning
According to Wolf, the Nuremberg-based company will welcome around 35 apprentices and dual students for the new training year in the autumn: “In accordance with our company philosophy, training does not end with passing the final exam, but continues with the constant support through the diverse internal offer of continuous training”.
