Whatsapp: Mega update brings four new functions for voice messages
Faster, further, higher – the motto applies not only to athletes, but also to the creators of Whatsapp. For years, the most popular messenger has been constantly changed and supposedly improved to meet customer needs. For example, it was recently introduced that voice messages can be paused and resumed. Playback outside of chat is finally possible. And: Whatsapp is currently testing so-called quick reactions for Telegram-based messages.

This includes, for example, the existing option to listen to voice messages again before sending them. Unnecessarily sent voicemails, where you can’t understand anything due to loud background noise, for example, will be a thing of the past (read more service news at RUHR24).

The playback speed of voice messages sent directly can now be accelerated by a factor of one and a half or two to save time. The feature will soon be available for forwarded messages as well.

The fourth innovation should also please many Whatsapp users: The Whatsapp messaging service, which was recently checked by Stiftung Warentest in terms of data protection, also introduces the possibility with the new update to only partially listen to messages by continuing to listen to the passage. last heard when you return to the respective chat. Long searches of voicemails will soon be a thing of the past.
